The 2009 Dick’s Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon was a huge success – thanks to the help, support, hard work, and enthusiasm of athletes like you! The sold-out event earned 4.5 out of 5 stars from Marathon Guide.com, and more than 80% of those who ran said they definitely anticipate running it again!
Together with charities such as Gilda’s Club, The American Cancer Society, The Livestrong Foundation, Pittsburgh Promise, Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation, Crohn's and Colitis Foundation and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Team in Training, the Marathon helped to raise more than $250,000 for charity.
In 2009, we undertook a detailed satisfaction survey. Today, we are hard at work taking all of your feedback into consideration, so the 2010 Pittsburgh Marathon can be even better.
