Kids of STEEL Program
More than 2,800 students participated in the 2013 Giant Eagle Kids of STEEL program. Students earned a special finisher prize and President's Challenge certificate for completing their training log. Giant Eagle Kids of STEEL participants logged over 72,000 miles this year!
In 2013, five elementary schools were awarded grants for their participation in the Giant Eagle Kids of STEEL program. Colfax Upper Elementary, Julia Ward Howe Elementary, McClellan Elementary, Rowan Elementary and South Fayette Elementary schools each won a $1,000 grant for their physical education programs.

Please note that while we are no longer accepting schools/groups into the program, students are still able to register and participate as an individual. Contact Katie Pavlich if you have any questions or would like to be placed on the school program wait list.
