The Dick's Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon is always looking for qualified individuals or groups to work with us as volunteer coordinators, volunteer committees, volunteer committee members or interns.

We have many needs throughout the year with the planning and implementation of the Dick's Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon and related events.  More than 3,500 volunteers are needed on race weekend alone!

As an intern for the Dick's Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon, students will interact and cooperate with all staff positions within the organization. Our internships enable students to "roll up their sleeves" and learn how a large-scale event operates from the inside out. We expect our interns to take ownership of their internship by learning and understanding their co-workers roles as well as their own, thus enabling them to better understand the work-flow of the organization as a whole. We encourage our interns to take an active role within the organization!
